yorukamome [userpic]
the 20th night

I'm back, with a poor and thoughtful work - it's sakuo3903's and my birthday on this full-moony, soft, hot 20th night
of july...sincerely, I myself do not know which Words should be added, it seems to my mind and eyes that the sentence
written on this small vellum is more than enough - or maybe it's because I'm in a strange mood, trying to enjoy a good
nice summer time, but feeling sad and silent and thoughtful all the same, and I myself can't say the reason of such a
"quasi-unnatural-for-me" behavior, considering my extreme love for summer, sea, sun and so on...oh well, I realize how
I'm able to change even such a happy occasion to one of my mumbleing stupidnesses - so, shortly and heartly, I want
to tell once again sakuo 先生 how glad I am that he's back to LJ - and after this funny choice of Words that can appear
unsuitable, "TIMES DO CHANGE, WE TOO CHANGE WITH THEM", I will add a short comment in form of an ancient
American Natives' chant/prayer that I happened to read somewhere and learn years ago, and which I'm keeping as a
precious stone deep in my mind and close to my heart...therefore, sakuo sensei, let me wish to you the happiest of all
birthdays, as well as the longest and happiest life I can imagine for my dear Maestro and friend:

"...I CHANGE...I AM THE SAME...I CHANGE...I AM THE SAME...I CHANGE...I AM THE SAME..." (ad libitum)

wow, i absolutely love this <3
powerful and beautiful.

ciao, 愛たい様 (I hope I'm correctly writing your name!), welcome back to my pages
and many thanks for the kindest compliment...now allow me to reply with "your"
sentence - and I dare even change the "Ise Monogatari", ね!:

散ればこそいとど桜はめでたけれ
憂き世に誰が久し振り歌う・・・

chireba koso, itodo sakura ha, medeta kere,
ukiyo ni darega hisashiburi utau

because they fall, we love the cherry blossoms;
in this transient world, after a longtime somebody sings...

夜かもめ・鴎庵

夜鴎殿,
ahhhhhh...i'm so in love with that verse. transience is what truly makes life both sad and beautiful, is it not?

actually, when i first chose my name, i had this aitai in mind: 会いたい because of my endless wanderlust, curiosity, and desire to meet people and understand the world around me. 愛たい is beautiful, too, though. everyone wants to be loved, ne ^__^

mmmmh...I should understand it was 会いたい after your LJ PROFILE, but
I sincerely do prefer the 愛たい "version" I instinctively chose, ね!
(^_^)
and yes, I use of the 鴎 kanji, but only in my "haijin name" I was
"baptized" with by sakuo3903 先生, which is
(as you can read above) 鴎庵...by the way, thanks indeed for
the 殿, too much for me...we are transient and impermanent, ね!

haha, your change is clever. i actually set the verse to song 2 years ago.

yes, it was a lucky "genius shot", LOL!
I'd like lots to listen to your song!
