Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
a few days ago, it was my splendid friend [info]wicapis' birthday....shame on me, I have a very bad memory about the dates,
anniversaries and so on - so I decided to try and be forgiven by making her the too belated gift of a song that I love so much:
it just took me the shortest download time to realize WHAT A BEAUTY I had chosen from the chaotic catalog of my musical
memories....I do sincerely hope that wic won't get upset with me if HER gift is now presented to all my as well splendid Ladies
friends on LiveJournal - I'm perhaps too a big "romantic"...but my whole heart was yelling at me "HEY YOU, SUCH A JEWEL
MUST BE SENT IN THE SKIES MORE, AND MORE, AND MOREOVER, TO FALL DOWN LIKE A SILVER MOON RAIN
ON THE FIRST STARRY SPRING NIGHT, TO CUDDLE ALL THE WOMEN IN THIS WORLD, TO TELL THEM ALL AGAIN,
AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, WHAT JEWELS THEY ARE"...so please, you all Beauties in your Heart and Eyes and Mind,
accept my now even poorest gift, forgive me all of you, stop whatever you may be doing at the moment to sit and enjoy:
for once, one of us gratuitously feels as to offer you back the sweetness that you gratuitously, endlessly, caressingly give
along your whole life, for once one of us gratuitously feels as to seriously witness you HOW POOR WOULD THIS WORLD
BE, WITHOUT "SHE"....:

gabbiano・夜かもめ・鴎庵

(ps: to tell the whole truth, I was posting the mere, simple, unforgettable video version by the IMMENSE Charles Aznavour:
please forgive me once again, if I allowed myself to be hopelessly captured by the STUPENDOUS Julia Roberts' smile....)

YOU know something, this is such a stunning music video and yes you are such an old-fashioned romantic! Thank you so very much, dear Fernando! A little bit of a tear-jerker.

Yes I agree you Tisana san, Aznavour must sing in
French.
Oh by the way~~ I love him singing in English.
It is lighter tempo than French.
Can I say that, if French Aznavour is wine, English
Azna should be dry jin.

sure I can, sakuo sensei...and I will myself turn left twice your cup,
before offering it to Wic, Tisana, B'oki etc: as you know, I gave up
(fortunately for me!) with alcoholics more than 20 years ago, so I'm
not a good nihonjin by this point of view...but it will be my sincere
pleasure and great honour to INTERPRETATE for you - with my poor person,
and STRICTLY ACCORDING TO THE TRADITIONS - your deep spirit of hospitality
to all your LJ Guests...am I allowed to wear my XIX century KIMONO and bring
my sword "KazeKiru"? I'll taste the honour of leaving "her" in your hands,
to be placed in front of your tokonoma!
