yorukamome [userpic]
poésie ininterrompue

one of the few things I like and love among my ones - yes, I dare say
that myself, in spite of appearing once more a presumptuous one...
I do sincerely not know why I made up my mind and posted it here:
just a few lines from the splendid Paul Éluard’s 1946 poem/sequence
“poésie ininterrompue”.

translation, por favor!

intoxicating image! great artwork once again and calligraphy... if only, I understood the language, I could get drunk in poetry no?

"intoxicating"...why? thanks for compliments,
sorry for not adding translation - I thought
it would be easy to find it somewhere'round:

"...NOTHING CAN DISTURB
THE TIDINESS OF THIS LIGHT
WHERE I'M NOTHING BUT MYSELF
AND WHAT I LOVE IS ON THE TABLE
THAT JAR OF WATER THAT BREAD OF REST
ALONG MY HANDS WRAPPED IN CLEAR WATER
ALONG THIS BREAD MADE BY A GREEDY HAND
SUCH A FRESH WATER, SUCH A WARM BREAD..."

(translator = traitor, my dear)

yes. we lose the true meaning and sensations when we translate poetry. However, thank you for complying.

Have a good Afternoon or Evening or whatever time of day it is over there yonder. :-) It looks as if I have found your tickle button and made U laugh. Goodgoodgood!
